Just a short drive from San Marino, in a lovely Pasadena neighborhood, Wigglewag’s doggie daycare provides a safe and affordable alternative to leaving your dog home alone. Co-owners Cynthia and Nestor Escobar have modified their spacious, two-story house to provide a secure environment full of activities and enrichment. Whether you work long hours, have a dog with separation anxiety, or just want your canine companion to have a fun day, Wigglewag will provide your pet with a truly beneficial doggie daycare experience.
Dogs in daycare receive at least three walks a day, which often include visits to the local dog park, Rose Bowl, Eaton Canyon and other great locations. Frequent outings, regular access to a large yard, and several other doggie friends make a day at Wigglewag a day of fun! Daycare at Wigglewag also gives your dog a chance to work on his or her social skills in a safe and structured environment.
Wigglewag includes behavioral training as part of your dog’s visit. The experienced staff work hard to help your dog overcome any challenge and develop good manners. Wigglewag uses training techniques that mimic a canine’s natural way of learning, so you may find your dog is happier and better behaved after just a few visits! Daycare is available for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages.
Unlike most daycare facilities, Wigglewag is similar to a dog’s home environment. Many other facilities offer a single, empty room, with little interaction from the people who work there. Plenty of exercise and daily contact with both humans and fellow canines is important for a dog’s spirit and quality of life. At Wigglewag, your beloved pet has everything he or she needs to thrive!
If you think your dog isn’t ready for group daycare or simply won’t enjoy the experience, you may be pleasantly surprised once you give it a try! Many dogs behave differently off-leash or when their owners are not present. Cynthia and Nestor Escobar have more than 25 years combined pet care experience and have successfully integrated many shy or reactive dogs into the group. The Escobar’s own dogs, Kiki and Pinky are excellent role models and will help your dog acclimate to the Wigglewag pack!
Before your dog is admitted to daycare, Wigglewag will help you determine if daycare is the right fit. If daycare is not the best option, Wigglewag provides excellent dog walking services for San Marino residents. Wigglewag will come to your home and walk your dog in your neighborhood.
